How long does it take for a design to be completed?

The timescale of a project is generally dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind we will endeavour to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation of a site is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client.

I would like you to design my site, what do I need to do now/what is the process?

If you would like to use our services all you need to do is inform us of the domain name you would like to use and send us a brief idea of your requirements. Also you can check domain name availability here. We will then purchase the domain in your name, and decide the right hosting package for your project and then based on your guidance, design an initial web page for you.

This is then refined / changed in consultation with the client until a satisfactory design has been reached. You will then need to send content and images for your site and we will start to develop the website for you.

Do I need to buy a domain name and hosting?

No, we do everything for you.

How much will it cost?

The cost of a website varies, depending upon the type of site you require. A basic site will cost approx $599, a simple Ecommerce site $1299, a complex Ecommerce site/Database Driven site $3000+. Obviously each site has to be treated on its individual requirements, but these figures should give you an idea of a ballpark figure.

I request a 30% to 50% deposit in all cases and will consider taking payment by instalments if necessary.

Payment can be made by cheque, Bank transfer or by using PayPal.

The only ongoing cost will be your annual hosting fee.

What do I get for my money?

All our designs are created and conceived from your requirements. We don’t use ‘readymade’ templates; all our sites are designed from scratch and according to your requirements.

What happens when I complete your contact form?

If you are making an enquiry about a possible site you would like created, please provide a brief outline of your requirements. We will contact you promptly with an idea of price / timescale and any suggestions with regard to your project. You are not obliged to use our services at any stage during this process, so feel free to use the form to ask any related questions you may have.

Do I need to send a deposit for the work?

Yes, we generally ask for a 30% to 50% deposit from clients and the start of the project, & the remainder is due within 7 days of the new website going live.

What is ftp?

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a method of transferring files (web pages for example) from your PC to your web server. There are a variety of free ftp software programs available on the internet and they enable you to update your website pages at any given time. When a hosting package is purchased ‘ftp details’, consisting of the host name, User ID and password are sent to us. Upon completion of the website and receipt of payment for any work carried out, we then send these details to the client.

How do I get listed in Google?

It is free to submit to Google and you can do that here. We submit all websites we design to Google & Yahoo!

What is optimisation?

All web pages should be ‘optimised’. This will enable your site to gain a high search engine ranking, it revolves around the meta tags & keywords on your web pages, a web page that isn’t optimised won’t appear in the search engines to any great degree.

Will we need to have a meeting?

In the majority of cases a meeting isn’t necessary and 90% of our sites are generally completed with contact via email, telephone or messenger.

What after sales support do you offer?

After the completion of a website project we are available for after sales service. Any slight tweaks or amendments are carried out to the site free of charge in the first month. Any support thereafter will be charged at an hourly rate of $85.
